Provide full service medical billing, patient statements, collections
and charge ticket analysis. Automated client office for computer access
for on-line scheduling, charge & payment entry. Electronic claims
filed to majority of insurance carriers with expeditious turnaround.
Collection percentage consistently in the 90 plus percentile.

Clinic of Houston
April 2003 - May 2006
Administrating
business office operations in coding, billing, collections, data processing
and cashiering/customer services. Consistently, increasing cash collections
by streamlining a few processes and reducing accounts receivable days.
Actively participating on committees evaluating change and enhancements
to the clinic. The clinic enjoyed record quarters during our project.

Elmhurst
Memorial Hospital
Oct. 2002-March 2003
Provided
staff to assist in a Meditech computer system conversation particularly
in the business office. Staff field on average 3000-5000 telephone calls
per week during the peak time of the conversion. Tasks included billing
claims, transferring misapplied cash, contractual adjustments, collections,
corresponding with collection agencies, eliminating dual accounts etc.
This project required staff to quickly learn two software systems simultaneously.
The result was accounts receivable days were reduced from 100 to 60
by the end of the project.

University
of Chicago Hospital
July 2000-June 2002
Managed a staff of ten at an off-site location that provided outpatient
follow-up on accounts billed. The goal was to status accounts to ensure
insurance companies received and processed claims, performed appeals,
requested medical record information, printed and faxed HCFA's and UB92's
along with operative reports and other requested documentation. The
staff consistently provided a higher collection rate. Click

Saint James Olympia Fields Medical Center
June 1998-2000
Provided staff that participated in a two-part Meditech computer system
conversion. The hospiital converted the front operations first and the
back operations months later. We provided approximately 15-20 staff members
to the front office conversion that were later hired on by the hospital.
The back end conversion required 10-15 staff members that were subsequently
hired by the hospital. Click
